Marinated Savory Chicken

Marinated Savory Chicken

This recipe is simple, and the combination of flavors accents chicken very well.

Chicken (breasts, leg quarters, thighs, drumsticks)
Olive oil
No Salt Spicy Seasoning
Gallon size zip seal freezer bag

Place the chicken in the bag, add olive oil to coat, and dust with No Salt Spicy Seasoning. Get as much air out of the bag as you can Place in refrigerator for at least 6 hours, but best flavor is achieved after 24 hours. Remove from bag. Grill, bake, or pan fry at low to medium temperature (if the oil starts to smoke, back it down).
Cook until the juices run clear and serve.

I’ve also used this recipe with bone in or boneless chicken breasts, but added a teaspoon of olive oil to coat the bottom baking dish, and added a 1″ layer of sliced button mushrooms, 1/2 cup of chicken stock, and dusted some of the No Salt Spicy Seasoning on the mushrooms. Bake or roast at 350 degree until done, about 1 hour or 165 degrees at the center. We love mushrooms, and it is hard to improve on their flavor, but this recipe really brings their flavor out.
