This refreshing tea blend combines the natural antioxidants of Darjeeling green tea with the energizing aroma and flavor of US-grown peppermint leaves. It makes a light, refreshing, and herbal cup, which is delicious both hot and cold, great to have on hand in July as well as in January. Mint tea is traditionally used as a natural digestion helper, and it is great to soothe an upset stomach. While the bulk of tea cultivated under the Darjeeling registered geographical indication is processed as black tea, some estates have expanded their product offerings to include leaves suitable for making green, white, and oolong teas, while still retaining the muscatel and fruity notes traditionally associated with teas from the region.
Naturally vegan and gluten-free, contains caffeine. Steep 1 tsp of tea per each 8 oz of water at at 160 – 180 °F for up to 5 minutes.
