This dried sourdough starter will allow you to get into homemade sourdough baking while skipping the cumbersome process of creating your own from scratch. This 30-plus year old made in Claremont starter is tried and true, very forgiving, and it comes with instructions on how to revive it. Through a simple and beginner-proof process of feeding lukewarm water and all-purpose flour to the dried starter over 2 or 3 days (depending on the room temperature) and then waiting for it to bubble back to life, you will be ready to bake in no time! After the dried starter has been revived, it will need to be refrigerated and refreshed regularly.
