White peppercorns are the seed part of regular peppercorns, where the black husk has been removed. They have a spicier and sharper than their black counterparts, with slightly fruity undertones. Use as you would black pepper or in a pepper blend. They are also ideal for lighter-colored dishes and soup when you do not want flakes of black peppercorns to show.
