Peloponnesian spice blend


This bread dipping seasoning is inspired by our favorite Greek olive oil, Mr Papou’s, and is an homage to Greece and the Mediterranean. The combination of classic Old World flavors like Greek salt, rosemary, basil, and garlic is a natural complement to the nutty and sleek flavor of extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy with a slice of sourdough bread or raw veggies and a glass of Italian or Greek white wine, like Assyrtiko or Lugana.

The idea for this blend came from our favorite Greek olive oil, Mr Papou’s. We wanted to create a bread dipping seasoning that would complement the sleek, nutty flavor of cold-pressed, single origin Corinthian olives, and at the same time highlight other traditionally Mediterranean ingredients, like rosemary, garlic, and Greek sea salt. The result is a finger-licking, robust seasoning that is just begging to be enjoyed with a nice extra virgin olive oil and an hearty slice of sourdough bread, or some raw veggies for a low-carb option. Great also as a rub for fish, chicken, potatoes, and roasted vegetables. Naturally vegan and gluten-free. Pair it with glass of  Greek or Italian white wine, like Assyrtiko or Lugana, and you’ll feel like summer in Santorini even when it’s winter in New Hampshire.
